SHORFAMAL: Jurnal Muamalah, Ekonomi dan Bisnis Syariah
Shorfamal Journal is a scholarly journal that comprehensively and deeply examines muamalah (Islamic transactions), Islamic economics, business, and finance, based on both classical and contemporary references. The study of muamalah covers the evolution of Islamic transactional principles from classical to modern times. Similarly, issues and challenges in Islamic economics and business are explored—from their basic philosophy to current practical implementations.
Islamic economics, as a field of thought, becomes a brilliant subject of study by integrating insights from both classical scholars and contemporary practitioners. The goal is to turn these ideas into applicable solutions for society, providing academic contributions that support the well-being of the nation and the global community.
Public welfare (maslahah), as the core of muamalah and Islamic economics, serves as a central focus in analyzing all economic and business activities in a broader sense. This perspective is not limited to the revealed texts (the Qur'an and Sunnah) but also encompasses developments in communication and information technology, local customs and cultures, as well as ongoing societal changes—all of which are highlighted as relevant themes within this journal.
